We offer a continuum of services to help a variety of individuals deal with these diseases. The services we offer are presented in the usual order that these services are needed.

Consulting to Businesses and Families

We are a full resource of information about these diseases. Most people have had a direct experience with alcohol or drug addiction — either family member, friend or acquaintance. Based on their own experience, each has opinions about this disease, but may take the wrong approach because they misunderstand. Families and businesses do not know what to do to heal. If they knew, they could help others to beat the disease. What it takes to really help the addict is not comfortable and is not what most people sense they should do. This seemingly helpful behavior creates codependency and perpetuates the problems that foster the disease.

Companies can help an afflicted employee. In most businesses, the boss, because he or she doesn't want to make the working situation worse or injure the addict's family, will not intervene or fire the addict. The boss becomes an enabler rather than making that person face consequences such as termination or intervention. With substance abuse education, the company could act honorably and save the work life of the employee.

Intervention

It can be hard to get through to people suffering from alcohol and drug abuse. Intervention is a process that is highly effective in aiding these people to accept help. The addict engages in self-destructive behavior and often rejects any offers when an individual tries to assist. The power of an intervention, where a group of people confronts an addicted person, is an extremely effective solution. We provide drug and alcohol interventions as well as other addiction interventions.

Sober Living Home System

The concept of sober living homes, or the halfway house, has existed for many decades. Many different models of these houses have been tried and tested. For the most part, all of these models have failed. Three major problems have plagued past models:

  1. Improper or lack of leadership from the top
  2. A system that relies upon one individual to manage, assess and improve the environment
  3. A democratic sober living home where a group of newly-sober individuals vote on house rules and consequences

Having a clear-cut innovative program, conveying that program to residents and their families and actually fulfilling the program sets our system apart.
