Information for Those Seeking Help
Relapse is a process and happens long before the person starts to use again. At ADAP, our Recovery Advocates are trained to identify, address and interrupt the cycle that will eventually lead to relapse. We customize our program to suit the needs of each participant- from regular contact with your personal Recovery Advocate to facilitating difficult communications with any collateral contacts, to using toxicology screenings to verify sobriety, we have many tools at our disposal to assist you in the very best chance of success in recovery.
Our families are impacted and damaged by our addiction. We have lied, manipulated and used them when we were active in our disease. ADAP not only provides services to the participant, we provide the family a service that allows them to be our family again, not our monitor or the “heavy” in our relationship. Your recovery advocate will provide regular communication with your family, as well as a written monthly report on your progress. This process enables everyone involved to be able to develop the trust again that is necessary for health in all aspects of the relationship.
ADAP offers the extra support that studies have found is necessary for most seeking permanent sobriety. If you have recently completed a rehabilitation program, ADAP can add the right component to get your life back, and more.
