Information for Referring Professionals & Facilities
Treatment professionals are very familiar with the frustration of working with clients on an in-patient basis for a specified period of time with great results only to see them relapse into old behaviors and finally resorting to their drugs of no choice usually within their first year of sobriety. Without the structure and support of a monitoring and accountability program it is extremely difficult for a newly sober person to succeed. Typically, they fail to thoroughly follow their continuum of care plan and find themselves overwhelmed with the pressures of reintegration into life. Nearly half of them relapse.
ADAP is designed to complement and enhance the participant’s continuum of care plan by providing structure, accountability and monitoring beginning prior to discharge and continuing throughout the crucial first year of sobriety. We will work in concert with any rehabilitation center professional in order to assist their client with establishing a transitional plan that works. Our success is self-evident; the ADAP program has statistically been proven to provide success in 85% of its enrollees.
Enrollees in the ADAP program will experience the benefits of having their original rehabilitation center exchanging information with their Recovery Advocate in an effort to ensure effective communication all around.
