Sober Living Homes
(Halfway Houses)
Addiction Directions owns Sober Living Homes in Austin, Texas. These afford our clients the opportunity to participate in Sober Living programs following treatment.
The Sober Living Homes are converted single-family and duplex units that are comfortable, clean, and home to sober men only. Once out of a rehab, many people are not yet ready to live entirely on their own. A Sober Living Home, like a halfway house, is not rehab and not quite the "real world" either. Sober Living housing is a community of addicted people learning to live responsibly and safely in sobriety.
Addiction Direction's Sober Living housing has live-in managers who are experienced with addiction and recovery. Unlike some halfway houses, all of our homes have rules that must be followed, including, of course, the absolute prohibition against substances of any kind.
